As of now, the upload transcoder stores the videos at 320x240 and then expands them into the player. THE NEW ENCODING PROCESS WILL TRANSCODE THE VIDEOS TO THE EXACT SIZE OF THE PLAYER AND WE ARE USING H.264 TECHNOLOGY! That means the video quality on REELComp will be even better! Very Soon! Also, when the new site is launched users will choose widescreen (16:9) or fullscreen (4:3) when they upload a video. NO MORE LETTERBOX CROPPING! You should always try to make you video as close to upload file size limit for best playback quality. So, Airpierre, as of now you would export your video at 320x240 using h.264 making it as close to 100mb as possible. De-interlace your video and you can get away with turning your sound quality down a bit too, to save file size. I heard the new REELcomp may be allowing larger file size uploads? yeo back to video editing...can yall give me ur two cents on whats the best way to export outa finalcut when posting on these site, cause i find my shit looks like digi barf, do u use a full quality .mov exports ( i think thos files are too big right) or do u need like the new hot shit F7ZXhd cam to avoid digi barf cause id rather have 80s grain than digi barf (i got a little 3ccd but it aint no HD), thanks for the change.....

FUNFUNFUN damn that shit looks better than freezer i went and rode in. this editing discussion is quite intereresting, i agree some of the shots have a slight faux 80s grain in them, not sure its a good thing, saturate that shit.

I wish I could go to Windells once in my lifetime. Be sick and I would get better at shredding.
